Maria is a member of the German League of Extraordinary Gentlemen know as the Der Zwielicht-helder The league consisted of only four members, Doctor Mabuse, Doctor Caligari, Doctor C. A. Rotwang, and Maria.
Creation
Maria was originally in the 1927 silent film Metropolis. Her robotic character was the inspiration for C-3PO in Star Wars.
