Maria Harvey

Little is known about Maria Harvey. She worked as a laundress in the late 1880s, and shared a room with Mary Kelly on the 5th and 6th of November 1888 at 13 Miller’s Court. It is possible she also shared rooms with Kelly in October. She left after acquiring her own rooms at 3 New Court, Dorset Street, but continued to visit Kelly. The last such visit occurred on November 8th, though she left around 6:55 that evening when Joseph Barnett came around to visit Kelly. She apparently left some clothing in Kelly’s room. This was the last time she saw Mary Kelly alive. Nothing else is known about Maria Harvey.
