It was Marianne who suggested Iron Man to change his grey armor,The grey armor of Iron Man was both rather dull and scary to the people he encountered. She rather liked the image of a “modern knight in shining armor” for the hero. Marion then traveled to Granville, Iron Man went looking for her and ended up rescuing Granville from Gargantus. Marianne’s erratic behavior convinced Stark to later end the relationship. Since that time, Marianne was fixated on killing Anthony Stark. She particularly resented him putting her in an asylum. One of her mind-blasts intended for Stark turned the villain Midas into a brain-dead husk.
