Marij’n Bek joined L.E.G.I.O.N. after she cloned a deceased Vril Dox and restoring his memories. She and fellow member Garryn Bek have an estranged marriage.
Marij’n was extremely obese when she joined L.E.G.I.O.N., but was transformed by the Emerald Eye of Ekron when she became a co-beholder of the Eye along with Garryn Bek. After she lost the power of the Eye she maintained her slimmer form and new-found confidence.
Later Marij’n began a romantic relationship with Captain Comet.
When Lyrl Dox took over L.E.G.I.O.N. from his father, Marij’n fell under his control, but eventually began to figure out Lyrl’s mind control methods. she was rescued from Lyrl by Captain Comet and stayed with him when he became the new leader of L.E.G.I.O.N.
