Origin
The Master of the Sun was once a great Ariguan scientist. He left his race and fought them and the atrocities they ravaged across the universe.
As the Master of the Sun, he gave astronaut Peter Jason Quill the power of Star-Lord. He originally planned to make many like him, but Peter would be the only one, which he considered his greatest creation. He also united Peter with the shapeshifter known as Ship.
He eventually allowed himself to be captured by those of his race to atone for his betrayal. He was presumably executed for his treason.
