Mato

Mato was an Atlantean worker who moved with his wife, Waya, and son, Achak, to New Atlantis. He was old fasioned and believed in the Atlatean caste system. His son wanted to be an inventor, he even created a device to detect poisons in the water. Mato disapproved of his sons ambitions. After his son revieled his invention, Namor stopped by and told the child he was interested in the device. The son was in awe at the rulers presence. After Namor left, Mato and Waya went back to work building their home.  
 
When the Aqueos attacked New Atlantis, Mato and his family was among the casualities. Namor seemed saddened that the family that he had just interacted with had perished.
