Origin
The boy who would become Matthew was once an elementary school student who had the terrible run of luck due to a multiversal ripple effect which had skewed his destiny of a happy healthy life with his loving family. While on a bus trip an accident occurs where a truck carrying nuclear isotopic rods capsizes in transit, jettisoning them from its storage container and lodging them into the poor kids chest.
The Authoriteens
When he woke up Matt found he had gained tremendous yet uncontrollable powers from the event which a couple of classmates exploited him for, turning violent and destructive. Basing themselves off of The Authority the group used the powers given to them by Matthew in order to terrorize the projects that they lived in.
With their diminutive benefactor tailing behind them all the way as he crept along in pain due to the instability of his powers. But when he tried to dissuade their murderous crusade, they turned on him and beat him to near death.
Until the timely arrival of Christine Trelane and the rest of her covert superhero group called The Monarchy. As he lay unconscious Matthews powers were spiraling out of control, Christine guessed he would detonate with ten times the force of what devastated Hiroshima during WWII. With the quick thinking of reverend Jon Farmer his energy output was dispersed into a harmless chromatic shower of energy saving both him and the city from certain annihilation.
Joining The Monarchy
After some months in the hospital and back at home with his mother, Matt was once again met By Ms. Trelane in his room while reading comics. She reminds him of events that brought the two of them together as well as how he received his powers. While going over how he came into his abilities, she gives him a retelling of events which played out with her team during their invasion of Chimera’s world. After finishing her story she takes him to their new mobile reality shift-ship called The Throne, integrating him into their new alt. reality peacekeeping black ops.
Powers & Abilities
Matthew is an incredibly powerful SPB (Super Powered Being) with abilities garnered from nucleo/irradiant control rods lodged in his sternum mere inches from his heart. Due to his lack of experience he would unintentionally pulsate with power that had odd and often destructive effects on his Surroundings.
Superpower Manipulation
The core of his abilities is the bestowal or activation, cancellation and erasure of enhanced abilities within another living being. He has yet to fully harness and control these abilities as of yet seeing as he had given them to four of his former school friends without intent to.

Matt can also unleash highly destructive ergokinetic discharge which of incredible devastating force. Theoretically force greatly surpassing that of the Hiroshima bombing, making it more than enough to wipe a small cityscape clean off the map.
