Max leads an attack on the sleeping Professor, but their infighting wakes him up. Max still manages to grab the key off of Professor and run to the cave, while a strange woman deals with his compatriots. The woman chases after Max, and he uses his boomerang to knock loose some of the stalactites. The woman dodges them easily and jumps to Max, introducing herself as Lara. They continue fighting until they realize they are surrounded by zombies. They then work together to blast them, but Max gets bitten, and Lara coldly kills him and grabs they key from him.
