Max Hunter was an agent of the North Organization hired along with his partner Kestrel to kill Natasha Romanaova aka Black Widow. Hunter had a very short temper often rude and volatile to those they spoke with. Even going as far as to punch Nick Fury in the face. While hunting down the Widow Hunter and his partner cam across her two companions Phil Dexter and Sally Anne Carter. Max shot Phil severely injuring him and kidnapped Sally. This earned the ire of the Widow who in return killed Hunter.
