Sapphire “Saffi” Mason aka Megamorpho was the daughter of Metamorpho and Sapphire Stagg in earth 16. She was one of the pampered generation superhumans in a world where there were no crimes and the world troubles were solved by the Superman robots.
Saffi was the first victim of the attack of the Gentry who induced her to suicide, just in the middle of a talk with her friend Sister Miracle. In the autopsy of her fragmented corpse, Bloodwynd and Menta would discovered pieces from the mysterious event. Her death would alert Batman jr about the danger menacing the unsuspected earth 16.
