Origin
Very little is known about Meridian. An incubus, he at some point settled in Manchester, England, where he opened a nightclub, called Meridian Line, that became one of the largest incubi hoards in Europe. At some point he became obsessed with creating rather than merely consuming, and went insane.
Creation
Meridian was created by James Tynion IV, Ming Doyle, and Vanesa R Del Rey. He made his first appearance in Constantine: The Hellblazer #3.

The Hellblazer
Still living in Manchester, Meridian orchestrates a few orgies that result in the deaths of several dozen people in an effort to sate his hunger for power while he works to compose his musical masterpiece. He is confronted by and nearly manages to kill John Constantine. He is defeated and apparently destroyed by Georgiana Snow.
Powers and Abilities
Meridian is an incubus of some power; as such, he feeds on the base emotions and desires of humanity. As a demon, he is functionally immortal for as long as he remains fed. He has a long prehensile tongue that can split into several tentacles, and which he is able to use to immobilize and lift individuals.
