Playboy Jock Kellog is the second to last in a line stretching back to the Merlin the Magician who taught King Author, one day Kellog is called to England by a dying old man who reveals this fact, before dying the old man, also a decedent of Merlin, gives Jock a green cloak that makes him the last Merlin while granting him vast strange magical abilities.
