In the Kirby series Meta Knight is a major character. He has appeared in many games in the series, the manga, and the anime. He is a mysterious figure appearing as rival and ally to Kirby. He has a strict code of honor, and offers Kirby a sword whenever they fight. He is leader of the group the Meta Knights and is captain of his ship the Battleship Halberd.
