Metabee

Metabee is a Medabot, a robot build for competitive combat and interaction. Like other Medabots, his mind and soul is inside a medal that is placed inside a robot body, in this case a KBT type designed to have the appearance of a beetle.

Personality

Metabee is headstrong and often extremely arrogant and overconfident. He used to have a tendency to ignore his owner Ikki’s orders(or at least question them) and had little to no respect to him, which is an unusual trait among Medabots. But as time passed, he learned to respect Ikki and his tactics in battles and has even made a strong friendship to his owner based on trust. Despite his arrogance, Metabee is extremely loyal to his friends. He is brave to the point of stupidity and never backs down from a fight(even if he is obviously outmatched, like when he faces a Medabot huger than a building).

Metabee’s Past

Metabee was one of the original Medabots from the age where Medabots ruled the world as the dominating species. His name was Kiamu and he was a skilled warrior as well as a highly respected member of society who enjoyed making pranks and taking naps under his favorite tree. However, he lost everything he loved after the many Medabot wars destroyed the once perfect Medabot society and he spend days mourning his many dead friends until it was decided that the surviving Medabots should have their soul and mind stored in medals in order to make room for a new and hopefully more peaceful species. When Kiamu was awakened thousands of years later by Ikki and renamed Metabee, he had no memories of his former life(probably by intention when his essence was sealed in the medal).

Powers and Abilities

Metabee’s beetle-type medal works best with shooting-type Medaparts. His mainly used KBT body specializes in a variety of shooting attacks with his strongest one being his heat-seeking missiles that he fires out of his head. Metabee’s medal is a legendary kabuto medal, meaning that his reflexes and fighting skills are superior compared to other Medabots who uses “normal” medals. Metabee doesn’t solely rely on his markmanship and can also defend himself in hand-to-hand combat, but it’s far from his greatest strength. He is also rather nimble.

Another thing that separates Metabee’s medal from “normal” medals is that he can use the Medaforce, an energy-based attack that taps out an huge amount of energy from his medal and fires it out of his body as a powerful laser beam. This requires a HUGE amount of energy and can make him faint.

Metabee also has standard Medabot traits, like that he can exchange his bodyparts for others(like one of his arms, his head or his legs) giving him other types of attack and abilities, like swordsmanship, invisibility, flying and so on. If his robot body seize to function, his medal is ejected from his back until he repaired or placed inside another Medabot. He also has a build-in communicator to Ikki’s Medawatch, meaning that he can communicate with him no mater where he is.
