Michael Barrick became one of the Stranded after E-Day and struggled to survive. During Operation Lifeboat, the COG was offering Stranded safety for the families of those who enlisted. Barrick signed up and was assigned to Zeta Squad. After the Lightmass Offensive he contracted Rust Lung. Afterward he would be transferred to Echo-Six and his entire squad would be killed. After being rescued by Delta Squad he was assigned to the team. Soon after Barrick would sacrifice his life saving his squad-mates.
