Fry later makes a clone of Michelle using Professor Farnsworth‘s cloning machine and a DNA sample from her scrunchie that Fry kept in his wallet. (He planned on giving it back to her after they got back together). The clone was very needy. After Fry learned that a star he had registered under her name in the 20th Century had been redesignated a planet, he took the clone to live on Planet Michelle. Things did not go according to plan.
