Creation
Miku Yuki (夕樹 美玖, Yūki Miku) is a supporting character of the manga/anime series Highschool of the Dead that was written by Daisuke Sato and illustrated by Shouji Sato. The series first began serialization in Fujimi Shobo’s Monthly Dragon Age magazine in July 2006.
Her first appearance was in Hightschool of the Dead Volume 3 CH. 12 “The Sum of All Deads”. Though she was intended to be a part of Shidou’s group that escaped Fujimi High School in CH. 3, Miku doesn’t actually appear until Volume 3 of the manga.

Her first anime appearance was in Highschool of the Dead – Episode 3 “Democracy Under the Dead”. Her character in the Japanese series is voiced by Airi Sakuno, and the U.S. dub produced by Section 23 is performed by Emily Neves.
