A rather peppy and sociable first year student, Minami’s personality seems to contrast wildly with her best friend, the terse and serious Asahi. And while Minami had always shown an interest in the topic of love, Asahi always regarded romance with disdain, until recently.
When Asahi fell for fellow student Medaka Kuroiwa, Minami threw herself into helping her friend with with great aplomb, setting up situations or coming up with plans to help her get closer to her crush. This is quite a boon for Asahi, though she’s often a bit frustrated by how much her friend pushes her to take action.
Minami herself if often hard to read. Although her interest in others’ romance is quite pronounced, her own love life is something of a mystery.
