Mindbender

Origin

When a gene bomb was unintentionally set off by the Detonator, Mindbender received her superhuman powers. She became the trusted aide and lover of Messiah.

Creation

Mindbender was created by Chaos Comics‘ original duo, Brian Pulido and Steven Hughes.

Character Evolution

Out scavenging in Los Angeles with the Ravengers, she came across a group of superhumans. Their fight was joined by Detonator, who killed some Ravengers. Roulette, a member of the rival group, changed into Reactor. Mindbender abducted Reactor to bring back to Messiah, the underground crimelord of Los Angeles.

Later, when Detonator and his new allies forced their way into the Compound (Messiah’s headquarters), she influenced Detonator’s allies to attack Detonator. Her influence over them ended, when Detonator shot her through the head.

Powers

Mindbender has telepathic and telekinetic abilities. She used these powers to control other superhumans.
