Origin
Mittens was a rescue pup at Best Buddy Shelter in New York City. Her favorite chew toy was a Captain America crew toy. Mittens life was not truly complete until she met Kamala Khan, was adopted and taken to Avengers Mansion where she met the other Marvel Mutts, Lockjaw, Bats, Lucky and Cosmo.
Creation
Mittens was created by MacKenzie Cadenhead and Takeshi Miyazawa for their run of the digital first comic Marvel Mutts Infinity Comic. Mitten first appeared in issue #1 but she wasn’t named until the second issue.
Major Story Arcs
Marvel Mutts – Season 1
Mitten’s was a crime stopper from the beginning. She helped Kamala stop Kraven the Hunter and she caught Gwenpool trying to steal Santa’s cookies.
Mittens and Lockjaw traveled the multiverse and meet Galactus all in a quest to get back a tennis ball. Mittens also held the Infinity Gauntlet, but dropped it for a nice dinner.
