Miyu Yamazaki is an independent and romantic person despite harboring an shady history. Her parents were divorced in her early childhood years, and now only lives with her mother, whom hardly ever visits Miyu because she reminds her mother of her ex-husband. During her middle school years, she lead a gang of thugs called “The Resistance” and her attitude became as crude as ever up until one day when Ran’s brother, Yamato Kotobuki took her into a police station. Because of this, Miyu developed feelings toward him and decided to leave The Resistance for good, became best friends with Ran and began her life as a Kogal.
