Molly Lane

School mate of Francine and Katchoo who dated Benjamin, Francine’s older brother. 
 
Witnessing her fathers suicide changed her deeply and she later moved to New York to become a novelist. There she met a doctor named Michael and they married. She got nothing but rejections from her writings, which became darker as time went one and eventually became increasingly confusing as she herself seems to slide in an out of her own characters. In one particularly bad night she writes of a Victorian version of herself corresponding with a person named Poo who commands her and gives her sexual thrills her husband is not interested by. She goes into a lust filled dream of sensual pleasure where she is naked and smeared in paint by her lover only to taste its salty/coppery taste that brings her back to reality. She is naked covered in the blood of her husband, cleaver in hand. 
 
The resulting media frenzy made her writings a best seller while the girl herself ends in psychiatric facility staring at the stars.
