The Mad Thinker’s Monster Android’s main objective was to destroy the Fantastic Four but it failed when it was thrown into the Negative Zone. During it’s time in the Negative Zone it eventually shut itself down due to the lack of the Fantastic Four being anywhere it could reach them. Drifting in the Negative Zone it was found by Annihilus who turned the android into his loyal “Scavenger” a winged goblin like creature that obeyed him. Unbeknownst to Annihilus his scavenger craved life, so when Annihilus lay defeated the creature took his control rod and made himself alive.
