Moot and other member’s of his bug race broke through the dimensional wall as an invasion force. His invasion force was only detected by chance because Reed Richards happened to be investigating the ‘stuff’ that holds the fabric of space and time together. The Fantastic Four though were overrun by the force and needed help from The Six to stop them. Moot was captured by Reed Richards and taking back to his lab for study. While Reed was studying him, Moot was able to take control of his mind and capture the other members of the Fantastic Four. Havok had stopped by the Baxter Building to be checked on by Reed was able to free the Fantastic four and stop Moot. Moot was then transported to the Vault.
