Mother Corpse

Origin

The Mother Corpse was once a human female who was married to a man named Frederick. She became pregnant with his child & named it Michael; however, both her and the child were killed due to complications that occurred during childbirth. Her corpse was dug up by Houstus Grave and brought to the lair of the Zombie Priest who used witchcraft to bring her back to life in an undead form.

Creation

The Mother Corpse was created by Eric Powell for ‘The Goon’ comic series.

Major Story Arcs

The Goon Volume Three

Dug up by Houstus Grave & brought back into the mortal world by the Zombie Priest; the Mother Corpse helped bring forth an entire army of feral offspring to aid the Zombie Priest in his fight against the Goon. A spell was then cast on her by The Arab that fused several off her offspring with the spirit of Labrazio to use him in the fight against Goon. After the defeat of Labrazio and the Zombie Priest the spell on the Mother Corpse was removed and she was finally allowed to rest.

Powers & Abilities

It is unknown if she was granted her abilities on resurrection or if it was due to additional spells cast by the Zombie priest & The Arab, but the Mother Corpse had the ability to produce a massive amount of feral, undead offspring that could shape-shift & combine themselves into new and hideous forms. Despite missing the lower half of her torso she was still able to survive, displaying some level of invulnerability/durability.
