In 1952, Mother Globin was the experimental subject of a Soviet blood plasma expirement that went awry. At first she was just a syringe of blood. But the blood grew rapidly and discovered it could think.
Creation
Mother Globin was created by Michael T. Gilbert.
Character Evolution
After she became sentient, Mother Globin killed all humans present at the experiment and fled her mother land on a passing borscht barge, destined for the Catskills.
Disguised as a peasant girl, she fell in love with Hubert, a handsome preacher. On their wedding night, Hubert discovered the truth and rejected her. She ingested him whole. After a 30 year pregnancy, she bore a son, Hemo-Boy.
A religious fanatic, Mother Globin became the head of Mother Globin’s Church of the Holy Corpuscle. She used her son Hemo-Boy as a human dialysis machine to cure the sickness of her followers. The cure however didn’t last long and deformed her followers because they were unknowingly infected by a mutated blood cell.
Mr. Monster exposed her practises and killed her by pouring CO2 liquid into her.
