Origin
Sister Katherine joined the Warrior Nuns order in 1990, when she was only nineteen years old. She was very talented and driven, beating her fight instructor after only five lessons and always asking questions to learn more. She was roommates with Mary Delacroix (the future Shotgun Mary). The then Mother Superion didn’t like her and asked Cardinal Shoc to sent her on a faraway mission. Cardinal Shoc found an obscure text about a site where demons and angels had fought several times. The interval for the fights was 666 years. He sent Sister Katherine to investigate. She ended up in Operation Desert Storm on the Syrian–Israeli border. Investigating a cave, she and the soldiers that accompanied her, stumbled upon a portal to another realm. A demon was coming through, coming for Sister Katherine. Having picked up a few tricks from her roommate Mary, she threw a granate at the demon. The explosion resulted in blinding Katherine. The surviving soldiers got out of the cave just in time, before it was closed by Israeli soldiers. Katherine however, was trapped inside.
Six months later, she resurfaced through another cave, having seen things, no man had ever seen. A Magic Priest went mad when he heard her speak. Parts of her brain were surgically shut down, to surpress her memories of the time in the cave. Having grown much older, her own identity was declared dead and she became the new Mother Superion.

Powers and abilities
The explosion that caused her to go blind, gave her ability to see spirits that were stuck on Earth, not being able to go to Heaven.
