Origin
Not much is known about the history of Mother Ya-Ya before she became Agaras-Bulba’s leader. After Sitha was abducted from her town, Red Sonja brought her back to what she thought was Sitha’s mother. But she discovered that Mother Ya-Ya wanted Sitha for a ritual because in Sitha’s body housed the fire demon Xamul. Performing the ritual, Xamul was transferred from Sitha to Mother Ya-Ya, rejuvinating the latter. Xamul then threatened the citizens of Agaras-Bulba, but they decided they could defend themselves without Xamul’s protection. After a short battle, Red Sonja threw Xamul back into the volcano, also killing the body it inhabited, Mother Ya-Ya.
