Origin
Grumpy schoolmaster Mr. Brown made the mistake of swallowing a magic pill that had been cursed by a gypsy, and for reasons entirely his own, wished to become a walrus. Despite this transformation coming true, he continued to try do his job, much to the consternation of his pupils, all the while trying to avoid ending up in a freak show.
Creation
Mr. Brown was created by Dudley D. Watkins, and appeared in the Dandy strip “Our Teacher’s A Walrus”.
