Mr. Bungling

Origin

Started a circus show with his brother, called the Bungling Brothers’ Circus.

Major Story Arcs

Off in the Arctic, Mr. Bungling searches for a new seal for his circus. He runs into Charlie McCarthy and Mortimer Snerd instead. He offers the boys passage on his ship if they will bring him a seal. He then retires to his ship, which is stuck in some ice. He sees the boys off in the distance and tells them to forget the seal deal and hurry onto the ship, as the ice is breaking. The boys make the ship with some impressive moves evading a shark while still getting a seal onboard. Mr. Bungling is so impressed that he offers the boys a job in his circus.

After arriving home, Mr. Bungling is annoyed that the boys want to take him up on his offer to give them jobs. Recalling that Charlie had bragged about being a lion tamer, Mr. Bungling offers the boys the job of lion tamers. The boys come face-to-face with Nero. He is a harmless lion, but scary enough to scare the boys off. Mr. Bungling is relieved to see the boys go.
