Quincy Magoo was the protagonist of a cartoon series by UPA Studio. Quincy is a wealthy, old man whose most notable trait is his myopia (near-sightedness) to the point of blindness. The humor derived from his stubborn refusal to admit of having a problem and of ever wearing glasses. Resulting in ludicrous situations and a reputation as a lunatic.
