Despite an ordinary and nerdy appearance and a well mannered tone Mister Nimrod is a dangerous serial killer. During the Collectors his monologues show that he is a nervous person and that this causes a murderous rage to build inside him.
He also reminds himself of the freezer in his secret shed that’s full of human torso’s. The Corinthian describes him as a hunter, “Nimrod is a hunter, he can bone, joint and gut any animal in minutes.” He also has a sick twisted sense of humor and like most of the collectors believes he is a righteous man until Dream shatters that illusion.
