Despite his reservations about the matter, Mr. Parrish supports his daughter Drusilla in her decision to get married after hardly knowing the fiance, Jerry Norwood. Drusilla doesn’t go through with the wedding and begins courting another man. Mr. Parrish hears of Jerry’s death and tries to get Drusilla to tell her new beau about her past. Things work out and Mr. Parrish is pleased to finally walk his daughter down the aisle at her wedding.
