Origin
Married Mr. Carter Dudley and inherited his fortune. She was wise with her money and now has to avoid her late husband’s family, which has not been money-wise. Of note, she has disinherited Earle Dudley, a young man that tries to woo every assistant that Mrs. Dudley hires.
Major Story Arcs
To avoid family and to take advantage of her fortune, Mrs. Carter Dudley travels extensively. While doing so with her latest assistant Arlene, Mrs. Dudley decides to leave all her wealth to Arlene. She knows Arlene and Earle are secretly dating so she requests that she and Arlene travel to Italy to prevent Earle trying to marry Arlene (as Mrs. Dudley has informed him of her desires to give everything to Arlene). While on the boat to Italy, Mrs. Dudley learns that Arlene will be engaged to Kirk Martingale and that they are to be married when the boat docks. She supposedly travels around Europe with the two for their honeymoon.
