Mrs. Puff

Mrs. Puff loves teaching, even if it means constantly putting up with SpongeBob‘s panicked driving. She expands like an airbag whenever SpongeBob crashes a boat. SpongeBob idolizes Mrs. Puff and tries his hardest in her class (he has aced every written and oral exam), but can never seem to get over his nerves when behind the wheel.

Mrs. Puff is a widow whose husband was captured by fishermen years ago. She has since entered a secret romance with Mr. Krabs; they have been dating for sixteen years as of the episode “Whirly Brains“. Mrs. Puff has paranoia, likely as a result of the loss of her husband and extensive criminal history.
