History
Myrina is one of the many characters created to the new 52. She was the chosen Amazonian assassin who slayed Echidna and tamed the griffin until Hippolyta decided to forgo the old gods mission. She was one of the many Amazons living in the paradise island called Themyscira, but in some point of her past she met Darkseid. In that time she conceived a child with him and had the omega symbol tattooed under her left eye. However she kept her pregnancy a secret from her fellow Amazonians. Only two Amazons were aware her of pregnancy and they also worked as a midwifes when the child finally was born. Her child was born in the same day as queen Hippolyta’s daughter Diana, also known as Wonder Woman. When her daughter, Grail was finally born one of the Amazons during the birth had a vision about the destruction what Grail would cause and demanded the death of the newborn baby Grail. Before any of them could do anything Myrina killed both of the Amazons during the birth and left the island. To the other Amazons, they disappeared in the power of the storm.
Her base of operation in Athens shows many relics and reveal that Myrina has been active for some time protecting the mortal world from threats such as the fascistic Red Panzer and the religious fanaticism of Minister Blizzard.
Grail had to stop the resurrected Darkseid and to do that she had to use her Omega Beams to obliterate her mother and then separate Darkseid from the Anti-Life Equation.

She also is seemingly a very skilled warrior for she was able to defeat two Amazons right after she had given birth.
