Nance Winters was one of the first member of the Acolytes who appeared in X-men vol. 2 issue 1,2, and 3. She was a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who was mind-controlled by Anne Marie Cortez. It’s not quite clear how she vanished or died after the crash-landing of Asteroid M.
