Born in 31 BC, Nefertari was the Priestess/Queen in Kemet (The REAL Name before the Romans renamed it Egypt) and when the Roman Empire made another push into the fertile crescent, they were repelled by the Sword of Pharaohs (a male at that time). A Roman commander by the name of Lionus Octavious was sent as ambassador, but in actuality a spy, who seduced Nefertari to learn the secret of the Sword and killed him. As Nefertari’s people were killed or enslaved, the Goddess Ma’At punished her by turning her into an immortal *Tyrean Sphinx to wander the Earth and mourn her people. She was also given the job to safeguard the sacred relics of the Gods and train the new Sword when necessary.
*Tyrean is Purple. The color was taken from the dye from a particular clam and was called Tyrean Purple, but was shortened to just Purple.
