Heart of the Impericon
The Never Queen is a cosmic being that seeks the power source of The Impericon. Zed, leader of The Impericon, uses The Motivator to convince heroes from various worlds to become Champions that he can send to battle The Never Queen. After the Silver Surfer agrees to be a Champion of The Impericon and face The Never Queen, he sees the all-too-brief battle the previous Champion had.
The Surfer soon discovers the truth. The Impericon is powered by the Never Queen’s heart, which was cut out and stolen by Zed with the Edge of Reality, a weapon from another universe capable of cutting through the fabric of reality. Without her heart, the Queen of Nevers will ultimately die, and with her all that could be.
Powers & Abilities
The Queen of Nevers is the embodiment of all possibility. She is cosmically aware and knows everything that can or will happen. She is infinitely sorrowful for all the possibilities that die every moment (that which never was or almost was).
The Queen of Nevers can project all possible futures and outcomes into a beings consciousness, overwhelming them with both positive and negative emotions.
