Night Lightning

Originally a member of a new Justice Machine formed when the original team members were declared traitors, Night Lightning appeared to a true sociopath when the two teams fought.  Night Lightning’s main target was Blazer, who eventually overpowered him. Night Lightning then became completely unhinged when he accidentally teleported from Georwell to Earth with the original Justice Machine, going from psychotic to meek in moments.  Night Lightning was kept in suspended animation for a time, eventually being released during Killgore‘s initial rampage through New Atlantis.  Maxinor then began treating Night Lightning’s mental illness. 

In Killgore’s second rampage through New Atlantis he took Night Lightning prisoner.  Killgore used Night Lightning’s power over electricity to neutralize the powers of Controller, a member of Freedom Force who played a key part in Killgore’s first defeat.
