History
A brilliant scientist, the Night-Owl is so-called because he somewhat resembles that bird and has perfected a means of seeing in the dark. Holed-up in a dismal cavern, he plots to throw Metropolis into darkness so his flunkies can rob the city blind. After a successful series of “preliminary skirmishes,” he launches his “big drive” only to be stopped by Superman.Â
