Nimrod was originally created for the Japanese TV show Gosei Sentai Dairanger in 1993 as a major villain over the course of episodes seventeen through twenty-two known as Lady Ring. When the show was adapted for a Western audience as Mighty Morphin Power Rangers season two, the character was renamed Nimrod and was given a smaller but important role as the main villain in the two-part special White Light.

In Gosei Sentai Dairanger, Lady Ring was played and voiced by Rumi Watanabe. In Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Nimrod was voiced by Brianne Siddall.

Nimrod made their first appearance in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers Saga #3 as a minor villain. However, was redesigned for her first comic appearance. Only keeping the name and the hand shape as the only recognizable factor.

Nimrod would not make another appearance for twenty-four years until the Necessary Evil arc in 2019, acting as a minor two-issue villain as the storyline adapted the White Light two-parter. Re-introducing Tommy Oliver as the White Power Ranger.
