Noah was chosen because of his incredible gift to create machinery. He used this ability to make nearly his entire body robotic. He didn’t understand why Gabe Acheron was selected to be their leader by the Surfer and thought he should have been chosen.

When Gabe began murdering those aboard the Great Ark, Noah tried to stop him. Noah was killed by Gabe, whose power began to consume him.
