Noir was created by Fred Van Lente and Wellington Alves in 2011 and first appeared in Power Man and Iron Fist # 1.
Sa’ida Zebari was the daughter of Muhammad Zebari, the founder of the Penance group. Muhammad was murdered by Joseph Duffy and his Divine Right neo-nazi gang in an attempt to take over his prison corporation.
Sa’ida became the vigilante Noir to avenge the death of her father, which she did, gunning down Duffy after his last scheme was foiled by Power Man and Iron Fist.
She appears to be working on a science project called the Dark Force Project.
She can control the Darkforce, turning into a being of shadows. She can also fire guns made of Darkforce energy.
