Just weeks prior to Hurricane Katrina, Nola Thomas is a lovely young woman
living with her mother in New Orleans, Louisiana. Her lover, Chevis Turner, is a wealthy man, however married into his money, and his wife is still active. Suffice to say, Chevice’s affair with Nola is not bound to end well. Nola lives a fairly care-free life, watching out for her mother, and hanging out with her girlfriend, Cinda.
