In Greek mythology, Oeagrus, son of Arès and Leto, is king of Thrace, father of Orpheus and Linos, conceived with the Muse Calliope.
Hygin (CLXV) also makes him the father of Marsyas.
According to Nonnos, he accompanies Dionysos to India. Diodorus reports that he was initiated by his father into the mysteries of Dionysus, and that he passed them on to his son Orpheus.
