At the age of 20 she was sold by her own father – King of Ophir to a desert sheik who in turn sold her to shemite trader who gave her to Shah Amurath – lord of Akif in exchange for trade leases and safe passage for caravans from Shem. She managed to steal a horse and escape. When Amurath discover this he chased after her and was ambushed and killed by Conan.
