Origin
Lost as a child in the jungle Oran grew strong and somehow survived. As a young man he and bludgeoning jungle lord he became of interest to a group of slavers who wanted to use him as a boxer, this lead to his defeating the slavers but entering the ring as a fighter.
After that he divided his time between dashing though the forest primeval, taking down evil doers like the Cult of the Sword, and facing opponents in boxing matches.
Running for 15 issues in Fight Comics Oran was indeed a boxing jungle lord, who instead of the usual animal skin outfit that most members of this sub-genre worn, was seen mostly wearing a blue business suit, or sometimes `jungle Jim’ style togs, and boxing trunks, and boots when in action.
However when he found he had to punch out gorillas or lions he took off his gloves and went bare handed.
