Oscar Stamp

Origin

Oscar Stamp was a poor young man whom lived in 19th century London. Not much is known about his past other then that he fled from his parents due to abuse.

Creation

Oscar Stamp was created by Peter Milligan and John Paul Leon and first appeared in The Further Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix issue 1 (1996). He changed his name to Oscar Summers at the end of issue 4 of the same series.

Major Story Arcs

A Marauder

Oscar joined a band of man whom named themselves the Marauders whom tasked themselves with capturing unusual and disfigured people in the London area. Although Oscar himself was a slaver of these people, the captives found Oscar to be one of the more gentle figures. Eventually Oscar came into contact with the time-displaced X-men Cyclops and Phoenix, whom helped save him when the former slaves of Essex where freed. In return, Oscar helped out the pair of mutants and even formed a friendship with one former slave, a young boy named Daniel. Together with Daniel, Oscar would travel to America with Oscar posing as his father. They took on the name “Summers” as their last name when entering America, after their rescuers Scott and Jean Summers. Oscar has not been seen since and is presumed dead.
