Creation
Owlwoman is a character developed in the pages of Miracleman comic which was produced by Charleston Comics. She was created by Alan Moore and illustrated by Alan Davis.
History
In the time shortly after his battle with Miracleman the defeated Big Ben is shocked with what he see’s in the Zarathustra bunker. Dismissing the truth and going further into his psychosis and rejects reality.In Big Ben’s version of events Jack Ketch and Owlwoman are colleagues from the Bulldog Brigade who arrive. Big Ben believes that Jack Ketch had told him how the red rogue had used a brain beam to make him to doubt his own identity. Big Ben allows Owlwoman to place an ultra-vest which she brings from her mountain fortress which would drain off the harmful mind-clouding radiation.
This is not the case however as in reality. Owlwoman and Jack Ketch are bureaucrats, serving the British state and its secret superhuman testing and its classified infrastructure.They are not the teamates and fellow heroes that Big Ben imagines are using a ultra-vest to disperse the mind controlling agent in his system. However she and the other doctor are actually using a straight jacket to secure him. Big Ben’s delusion makes him believe the female doctor as Owlwoman.

Big Ben’s version of events in which he continues seeing himself as a super-hero even as the two doctors take him away. He also believes they escort him towards a waiting “Owlcar”, which is actually a delivery truck. Big Ben totally believes that thanks to his delaying tactics they had been able to prevent Molotov escaping with the death ray. The two doctors, “Owlwoman” and “JackKetch” than depart into a highway back to their base to re-indoctrinate Big Ben.
Powers and Abilities
Owlwoman would have had several technically sophisticated gadgets and devices. She would be a great intellect, and apparent good combative. This however was not truly in existence as the woman Big Ben imagined to be Owlwoman was actually a plain, regular woman.
Appearance
Her large, circular glasses become the goggles in Owlwoman’s mask. Her lab coat becomes a cape. Her black vest morphs into a red and bright blue color pattern on her super-hero costume. Her circular belt buckle becomes a circular decoration on her torso.
Equipment and Paraphernalia

Owlwoman has an eccentric, streamlined vehicle called an Owlcar, which looks like it’s levitating slightly off the ground and doesn’t have any visible wheels.
She is a owl theme-based super-heroine with copious gadgets, including vehicles and a themed mountain fortress.
